Information Regarding the Application of the Compulsory Foreign Language Course Coded YDİ1001 Midterm Exam
The mandatory foreign language course midterm exam coded YDİ1001 will be administered with online tests shared via Microsoft Teams.
• Students will complete 4 separate online tests, each worth 25 points, online on Microsoft Teams.
• The link for each test will be shared on the general channel of your Microsoft Teams class team.
• Each online test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions with 4 options covering vocabulary and grammar information in a unit and is evaluated out of 25 points. The total score you receive from the 4 tests constitutes the midterm exam (midterm) grade of this course out of 100 points.
• You have 30 minutes and only one chance to complete the test. You cannot submit the test after 30 minutes are up. Therefore, submit the test before the last minute.
• If you start the test by mistake, this process cannot be undone. Therefore, click on the link when you are ready.
• If you close the test after opening it once, you cannot reopen it.
• Do not start the test without making sure that the device you will fill in the test is fully charged and has a good internet connection.
• Since 1 week is given to fill out the tests, there is no make-up for the tests.
• Before filling out the test, be sure to watch the lesson videos of the relevant unit and complete the exercises in the book. The content of the exam consists entirely of the grammar topics and words in the lesson videos.
• Since these tests will replace the midterm exam, you must enter your Name, Surname, Student Number, Faculty and Department information completely, without using abbreviations. Your exam grade will be automatically transferred to the UBYS system using this information. It is your responsibility to ensure that your grade is not entered into the system if you enter the wrong student number, department or faculty name.
• A week will be given to fill out each test. The start and end dates of the tests are given below:
